The History of R&R Freight Services From The Beginning

R&R Freight Services opened in January 1986 as a Freight Forwarder and an agent for Target Air Freight. During the early years the company operated using one truck. Throughout the years the company has added services and has grown into the Transportation and Distribution organization that currently operates in 48 states using three different operating divisions.

1. TRUCKING – This division is the asset based portion of the company that operates in the Northeastern United States. This division handles all the Full Truck Loads and Same Day Services called in from our customer base.
2. WAREHOUSING – This division is run under 4 separate buildings located in Branford and North Branford CT. This division handles all the Warehousing and Fulfillment for our customers. Each building is racked so that space is optimized. Our warehousing customers enjoy a complete inventory computer software that allows them to control their inventory from their own desk. Orders can be picked and shipped at the click of your mouse.
3. 3PL / Brokerage – This division covers all 48 states and Mexico and Canada. We handle Full Truck Loads and Large LTL Shipments to and from anywhere. We utilize our vast network of carriers that allow R&R to be competitive anywhere in the U.S.
